executive summary penetration test made easy

01

Redline Desk is an autonomous AI agent for Windows 10/11 that turns your authorised test notes into a written penetration test report. It runs the tools itself, reads your evidence, and drafts the executive summary and findings. Download the ~34 MB setup program. It is told to use your notes only and you review the draft, helping you with writing someone else's finding in a report.

Features

How it works

You provide the notes. The agent drafts the text. You review the changes before they become permanent.

Walkthroughs

Draft a finding

You open your raw notes in the chat, and the agent uses read_file to understand the context before it proceeds with the analysis. Start now. It then uses grep to find specific vulnerability keywords in your text. Next, write_file creates a new draft finding document for the executive summary penetration test. The agent edits the file to add standard sections like severity and impact. You see a diff showing exactly what changed so you can prioritise security findings beyond severity scores. You review the diff in Ask first mode and accept the changes. This ensures you control every word before it is saved.

Write an executive summary

Redline Desk is a pentest reporting tool that uses glob to find evidence files, so it drafts the executive summary in plain language and keeps findings consistent. It works locally. The agent writes the summary document using write_file to save the text. Use Plan only for an outline, then Ask first so each change appears as a diff. A tool for documenting pentest workflows keeps findings consistent across reports. You review the final draft before sending it to the client. No telemetry leaves your PC with a local model during this process. The author reviews the draft for accuracy before sending it to the client.

What Redline Desk does not do

It is not a hosted service or plugin. It is meant only for reports on tests authorised in writing, built from your own notes; it does not test or scan. No guarantee that drafts are correct. Shell, web and SSH are not folder-bound, you keep the work within what you are allowed to use.
