Get the official Redline Desk build for Windows. The download button provides the setup program, which is about 34 MB. No account is needed to start writing your report immediately.

  1. Download the setup program from the button above.
  2. Compare the SHA-256 checksum of the downloaded file with the published manifest using the provided Windows command.
  3. Run the setup program. If SmartScreen warns, click More info then Run anyway only after the checksum matches.
  4. Open the app, connect a model, and choose the project folder where your test notes are stored.
Before you begin

No account is needed to run the agent. If you use a cloud AI provider, that provider may charge you separately for the API usage.

System requirements

Redline Desk runs on Windows 10 or 11 in x64 mode. You need a working folder for your test notes and a model endpoint to generate text.

Updates

The app shows an Update button when a new version is ready and updates are published automatically

Verify the file

Windows
certutil -hashfile "C:\Users\you\Downloads\<downloaded file>.exe" SHA256

Compare the output of this command with the published manifest. The checksum must match exactly before you trust the file.
